You want to know what it’s like to have excellent mental health, positive behavior patterns, and effective coping skills that you actually use. You know there is room for improvement, and you want better for yourself.

You are ready for a change.

You may be struggling with a mental illness, a behavior problem, an addiction, or just a lack of connection to a caring and supportive person. You may have heard about how helpful and life-changing a good therapist can be, and you want to know what that’s like. You may have already experienced the benefits of therapy and found you now need something more or something different.

You’re in the right place.

This is where people come to grow, heal, and change. The work I do with clients is evidence-based, thorough, and challenging—and we get results. Therapy can take you from surviving to thriving. It is one of the greatest investments in yourself and provides the means to improve your overall quality of life.

Hi, I’m Lauren.

I specialize in trauma and addictions. I’m also a well rounded therapist equipped to help with a wide variety of difficulties and disorders. I am an LPC, ASAT-Candidate (future CSAT), and LCDC certified in Brainspotting.

I have a passion for people and can connect with anyone. It’s my pleasure to join you on your journey. Having someone specialized and well trained (by grad school and life) makes all the difference.

My analytical and also highly relational approach helps you gain greater self awareness, recover from past hurts, develop healthy skills, and create real behavior change.

I am currently an ASAT-Candidate, training through IITAP and working toward becoming a CSAT. I have experience with both substance and process addictions, trauma, and co-occurring mental illness.

I am certified in Brainspotting and use this modality to help you heal from trauma and gain a sense of safety, security, and serenity. I can also use Brainspotting to enhance performance.

I work with individuals in-person in Dallas and virtually from anywhere in Texas. I do not accept insurance but can provide a superbill.
